  • Condition: This xylophone/ marimba is in good condition, It is a 2 1/2 octave model with beautiful rosewood keys,it was used for private use in the home. It shows a good amount of wear to the stand but the keys look nice. The pipes are the war style they are a spun paper style instead of metal common during the war when metal was being used for the war effort. The lowest sharp pipe is missing all othwer tubes are in place. it includes the original stand with casters. This unit is playing as it should and sounds amazing !!! Wow does it sound good !! The keys are suspended with string on this model so their is no damping from felts. This would be a great studio addition or a fine school unit or nice for the home. This could use some paint and added cleaning but it is a playable unit as is.

    VINTAGE DEAGAN XYLOPHONE MODEL ??  2 1/2 OCTAVE  C-F   RECENTLY SETUP AND PLAYED,  AMAZING UNIT  IN WHAT I THINK IS ORIGINAL CONDITION. AWESOME OLD PIECE !!!
    This is and amazing instrument it  was used in a private home for many years and did see some local travel as well. The wood keys look pretty good and I don't see to much wear to it. The stand could use some paint  and the keys could use some additional cleaning You can tell it is old but it also was played with care. This is missing one of the low pipes for the sharp key.
    Please view the photos carefully as they are part of the description, what you see in photos is the item you will receive.   If you have any questions or need some added info or another photo or 2 feel free to ask. This will make a very fine Studio addition or a real fine unit for the home or anywhere.
    Just to be clear if I have not mentioned it other places I do not know for sure if this is a Deagan or something else like  Musser brand it is only my best guess that it is a Deagan !!!!!!

    I have shipped many instruments before and I can see to it that it is  well packed but I will not be the shipper on this and I can see to it that it is packed as good as I would want it packed but this item is sold as is where is, no guarantees once it leaves my shop. This will be disassembled  and will need to be re assembled when it arrives.
