SINGLE AXIS SOLAR TRACKER Model ST Specifications
The Eppley Solar Tracker, Model ST-1 or ST-3 is a clock motor, single axis tracker designed for pointing of normal incidence solar radiation measuring instruments (sNIP, NIP, AHF) at the sun. It makes one complete revolution every 24 hours. Once daily adjustment of the Declination Scale and unwinding of the pyrheliometer cable is needed to ensure proper tracking.
The clock motor tracker requires a steady input current so the input power requirements are for 110 VAC, 60 Hz.
The ST-3 has a head designed for holding up to 3 NIPs.
